Me and Wii

I've recently purchased a JVC Hard disk camcorder and have been trying out, it seems that I'm the only one who is not camera shy so here is my first attempt at a movie.

My little sister Hannah has also been staying with me for a week or so as part of her tour of the world. The highlight of her trip so far is probably the fact that I was able to get my hands on a Nintendo Wii, which has been eating up a lot of time.

Fatherhood

I just found out today that I am going to be having a son. So its out with pink and dancing and in with blue and football!

Still trying to decide on names, so suggestions welcome.

MONSTER TRUCKIN'

Tonight we packed are bags and went to the monster jam. Its about as North American as you can get but pretty enjoyable. Check it out for yourself.

This is the first picture of things to come. Although it's only 5.4mm long, it has a heart beat, which is working fine. The next ultrasound should be a little more interesting.

Loss of a friend

I just found out that a player on my soccer team has died today after getting caught up in an avalanche while skiing.

It strange to open up your e-mail and get news like that. Although I didnt know him all that well I did know that he was a very nice guy and its a real shame that his time came this early.

He was the guy who would always try and get everyone together after a game for a beer, i've never seen him in a bad mood, and his commitment during a game was second to none.

He will be missed.
